From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and thoughtful touches. The cozy fire in the fireplace and the freshly baked bread made us feel instantly at home. The house had plenty of space for our family and was pet-friendly, which was a big plus for us. The hosts Máire and Willy went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, even providing scones upon arrival and supplying all the household essentials. The quality bedding and tasteful decor added to the overall comfort and ambiance of the house. The hosts even promptly mailed back a forgotten item. We fell in love with Donegal and hope to return to Suaimhneas and Falcarragh many times in the future. we highly recommend this wonderful holiday house.

We had an amazing time at Suaimhneas! Mary was so attentive, making sure our check-in was smooth and even checking in the next day to ensure everything was okay. the house had plenty of space for our family and being pet friendly was a huge plus. the charming touches like the roaring fire and freshly baked wheaten bread made us feel truly welcome. We also appreciated the homemade Guinness bread and caramel slices, as well as the locally made soaps in each bathroom. Mary provided great recommendations for local spots and directions, making our stay even better. the house had everything we could possibly need, was very clean, and conveniently located near shops, restaurants, and the beach. It was the perfect base for exploring the area, including Bunbeg, Mt Errigal, Dunfanaghy, Glenveigh National Park, and Marble Hill beach.

Maire even kindly posted back my husband's forgotten Fitbit promptly. We fell in love with Donegal and hope to return to Suaimhneas again and again.

Absolutely loved the cozy atmosphere and attention to detail. The fire was already crackling when we arrived, and there were so many thoughtful touches like fresh milk in the fridge and plenty of towels. The homemade Guinness bread and caramel slices were a delicious surprise, and we appreciated the local soaps in each bathroom. The host provided great recommendations for local spots to visit and directions were posted in the kitchen. It made us feel truly welcome and helped us make the most of our stay.
While there wasn't much we didn't like, I would have preferred some additional seating in the living room. With only space for four people, it wasn't enough for our family movie nights.
